At Moorland Rovers Service Centre, we’ve invested in advanced Jaguar Land Rover diagnostic equipment and software to provide our customers with an even more comprehensive specialist service.
Our workshop is now equipped with JLR SDD, Pathfinder, TOPIx and IDU2 diagnostic technology, supported by the relevant software subscriptions.
This gives our technicians access to manufacturer-level diagnostic systems and technical information to help investigate faults, identify underlying problems and carry out supported diagnostic, configuration and programming procedures.

More Than Just Reading Fault Codes
Modern Land Rovers are sophisticated vehicles, with multiple electronic control modules managing everything from engine performance to suspension, transmission, security and driver-assistance systems.
A generic diagnostic scanner can be useful, but it doesn’t always provide the detailed information or guided processes required to investigate complicated faults. Our investment in dedicated JLR technology gives us access to more advanced diagnostic functions, helping our technicians:

JLR SDD
2005 - 2017
JLR SDD is manufacturer-developed diagnostic software designed for earlier generations of Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles. It allows our technicians to access vehicle control systems, investigate fault codes and monitor live performance data. The software also supports guided fault-finding, servicing functions and compatible electronic programming procedures to help identify and resolve complex vehicle issues.
PATHFINDER
2017+
JLR Pathfinder was developed for newer generations of Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles, introducing advanced diagnostic capabilities for increasingly sophisticated electronic systems. It provides access to vehicle fault information, live data and supported control-module programming procedures. Although now superseded by TOPIx Cloud Diagnostics, it forms part of the development of JLR’s manufacturer-level diagnostic technology.
TOPIx
2017+
JLR TOPIx is the manufacturer’s current diagnostic and technical information platform for modern Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles. It provides access to detailed repair procedures, wiring information, diagnostic guidance and vehicle-specific technical data. Its integrated diagnostic functions enable our technicians to investigate electronic faults and perform supported software updates, calibrations and programming procedures.
IDU2
EGR's,Turbos's, timing chains
LR IDU2 is specialist diagnostic testing equipment designed to investigate complex electrical and mechanical system faults. Working alongside JLR’s approved diagnostic software, it allows our technicians to perform targeted component testing and accurately measure electrical performance. This helps identify underlying faults in systems such as turbochargers, fuel pumps and other electronic components, reducing unnecessary parts replacement.
